SPR# MROE6CRJ83 - Added code to prevent the DAMO data directory path string from containing extended characters when the user is creating their profile. If a disallowed character is entered in the path, the following error will be displayed: "Invalid data directory specified. Please enter a valid directory name.\n\nExtended characters are not allowed, nor are the following characters... '/ : * ? '' < > |' "

Problem:
In DAMO releases 6.5.5 and later, an error message identifies this as a problem
when creating the profile, requiring the user to enter non-extended characters.
Workaround: Do not create a data directory using names with extended
